BiaBeo Nutritional Therapy
Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food” – Hippocratus
Nutrition is the foundation of good health. What we eat directly affects our health. Our food can affect us negatively and positively. What is most important is that we find a balance in life while striving to treat our bodies, mind & spirit with all the love and respect they deserve.
Nutrition is a vital part of life. Knowing how to fuel your body is a necessity for a healthy life.
Nutrition is the foundation of good health.
Food affects us on all levels. Food directly affects our mood, our hormones, our energy, our thought process, our intelligence and even more. You literally are what you eat!
A Holistic Approach To Nutrition
Nutritional Therapy is holistic in its approach and is based on the concept that food can be a form of medicine. If optimum nutrition is obtained by the individual it can prevent illness or eradicate it.
Our bodies have a natural ability to heal themselves. A great example of this is if you cut yourself, your blood clots at the site of the wound and forms a crust to close the wound and prevent infection.
If your body gets the vital nutrients it needs it will be able to stay healthy and prevent disease. Our immune systems fight off disease if our bodies have the nutrients they need.
Our bodies are really amazing things. We just need to treat them right.
At Bia Beo the aim is to use nutritional therapy to help people make that a possibility, providing all the necessary information, support and guidance.

Your Nutritionist Consultation
The consultation process will help identify the root cause of your symptoms allowing for comprehensive lifestyle changes to be put in place to help you take control of your health. A consultation will supply you with the guidance, knowledge and organisation to implement vital changes in your diet and lifestyle allowing you to take your health into your own hands and achieve your own specific goals.
In preparation for your consultation you will be asked to record your diet for up to 7 days before your first appointment. You will be given a questionnaire to fill in and return prior to your first visit. There may be other questionnaires to fill in at your visit if relevant. A food intolerance test may be available if required and requested in advance.
It is recommended to come for a follow up consultation in most cases, usually between 3-8 weeks after your first visit to review your recommendations and see what has been working for you and make any adjustments to your recommendations.
Further visits may be required if needed depending on the individual case. You will have on-going any time support from your therapist through e-mail and you will receive a reply within 24 hours.
